It’s gametime in Atlanta! With the FIFA World Cup well underway, soccer and sports fans across Atlanta are buzzing for opportunities to experience the tournament.
With eight total games, including one semifinal on July 15, hundreds of thousands of fans will share unforgettable viewing experiences. On June 29, I shared my gameday journey on SaportaReport and covered the vibrant sights, smells and sounds of the South Africa versus Czechia game on June 18.

While scoring tickets can be expensive and difficult, more affordable opportunities are
and open to any Atlanta resident. From South Downtown to Underground Atlanta, fans can dive into outdoor watch parties, food and music that capture the excitement of the tournament while supporting local businesses:
Underground Atlanta is hosting free daily watch parties through the end of the tournament, including the final on July 19.
On July 19, the City of Atlanta is hosting a celebration of sound and soccer in Piedmont Park. Events include a live screening of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final and a full set from artist Ludacris.
The Welcome to Atlanta Experience will host 150 local business vendors on matchdays and the day after in front of visitors to the stadium.
The Atlanta Cultural Exchange is also open at the CTR through July 15, and features Showcase Atlanta vendors.
Global Grub Alley turned Walton Street into a pedestrian-only corridor for sixteen days. Up to twenty Atlanta-area trucks line a short two-block stretch from Centennial Olympic Park Drive to Fairlie Street.
Showcase Atlanta has partnered with Butter.ATL for Capture the Flag—where you can earn prizes while exploring Atlanta throughout the tournament.
